If you like Schick's Touch-Up tool, you might want to try the brand's newest launch: the Hydro Silk Professional-Style Dermaplaning Wand. Plus, I've been using these razors for weeks now, and I haven't noticed any changes in my hair color or texture. This is because dermaplaning only affects the surface of the skin. Perhaps the most encouraging thing I've learned is that shaving my facial hair doesn't mean it will grow back thicker or darker. It feels like I've just finished using an expensive shaving cream, but it's really just the work of a $6 blade!

The at-home shaving technique is a very mild form of dermaplaning, which is proven to have many benefits, like allowing skin care products to penetrate more deeply into the skin. Courtesy Katie Jackson / Katie JacksonĪccording to experts, a facial razor is not only useful for removing unwanted hair but also clearing away dead skin. Great for physical exfoliation I can't believe how much hair a single blade picks up. Luckily, the three-pack of razors includes an extra attachment for "precise shaping." It covers part of the blade, so it only removes a few hairs at a time (and leaves little room for brow catastrophes). (Note: The instructions say to move downward, with the growth of your hair.) The only thing I'm a little nervous about is shaving near my eyebrows. I've shaved in both directions - with the growth of my hair and against it - and I haven't had any close calls. It makes my skin look and feel silky smooth. However, each Schick blade is designed with a "fine microguard," which helps protect my skin with each stroke. Initially, I was wary about shaving my face because I know how easy it is for me to nick my knee or ankle while shaving my legs. It's even sharp enough to tackle the coarser hair along my bikini line and on my hands. I use this razor on my cheeks, chin, upper lip and forehead. Sharp but safe This razor easily removes the coarse hair on my hands. It's also compact and easy to store, only taking up about as much space as a pen. All I have to do is remove the blade cover. I've also avoided skin irritation and nicks with a few pain-free hair removers, but they're normally quite bulky and require batteries. While I like the idea of at-home wax kits for their convenience and affordability, when it comes to my sensitive facial hair, it takes me at least 30 minutes to just summon the courage to rip off the strip. I'm never going back to waxing! Courtesy Katie Jackson Easier than the alternatives This facial razor is so easy to use. So, the decision to add them to my cart was clearly an easy one. 1 on the retailer's list of bestsellers in Women's Bikini Trimmers.

Schick hydro silk sensitive womens razor hydrates & protects your sensitive skin against irritation while removing unwanted hair. Plus, the new travel cover protects the cartridge for when you’re on-the-go this summer and the ventilated case helps to make sure that the water-activated serum dries quickly after each use. The serum doesn’t get all goopy and weird while it sits in your shower either – it simply comes to life when you add water. The razor features five blades and a unique water-activated moisturizing serum that helps to replenish the skin’s moisture while you are shaving. Schick’s latest launch, Hydro Silk, has been revamped this summer to include a travel cover (which blows our minds!) and a fun new aqua green handle. Well ladies, we’ve finally found the razor we’ve been looking for.
We are always looking for one that gives us the closest shave (in the shortest amount of time) while still providing moisture to our legs and a comfortable grip so we don’t feel like we could cut ourselves at any minute – harsh, but true. If we were ever to compare ourselves to “Goldilocks” when it comes to finding that perfect beauty product, it would most certainly be for razors. “Cheap Trick” is our way of sharing our favorite wallet-friendly finds with the beauty world, so you can look great and have money to spend on more important things (like brunch with the girls). There’s nothing we love more than beauty on a budget, especially when the product is actually worth way more than the price tag.
